  • PhD Student – The title of my research is “Using Augmented Reality as virtual presences blended with reality as an educational aid and how to enhance the understanding of instructional manuals”.  The practical element of my PhD, which will be a reflection on practice/practice based research, will focus on producing augmented reality automotive workshop manuals.  The theoretical element that I will use to inform my practical element will look into how people learn and understand how AR can be used to inform and educate.

Previously Creative Director, Software Trainer and Web/Multimedia designer, Clear Thinking UK Ltd, Southampton.  Also working as a Macromedia and Adobe trainer, taught at many design agencies and architectural practices in the use of these programmes, some directly through Clear Thinking, others through Transmedia and New Media Training (London training agencies). Clear thinking was also a design agency, creating 2D, 3D drawings, multimedia applications and web sites for various clients under the name of PR Graphics Ltd, which changed to Clear Thinking Ltd. Clear Thinking was an authorised training centre for Macromedia, Discreet, Autodesk and Maxon.
